Young Abhimanyu — Arjuna's son, just 16 years old — knew how to enter but not how to exit. He entered alone, fought like a warrior of the gods, and was killed by seven great warriors attacking him simultaneously — against every rule of honourable warfare. 😢
When Arjuna learned of his son's death, his grief turned into a burning vow: "I will kill Jayadratha — the man who blocked the entrance so no one could enter to help Abhimanyu — before sunset tomorrow. If I fail, I will enter the fire." The entire Kaurava army heard this. Now they had one job: keep Jayadratha alive until sunset. Arjuna had one job: find him and kill him. 🌅
Jayadratha had a special boon from Lord Shiva — he could hold back all four other Pandavas for one full day. The Kauravas surrounded him with their entire army.
